      SOFTWORKS WEST proudly announces the release of GEMART #1, a new
      collection of GEM artwork for use with all Atari MEGA and ST
      computers.  GEMART #1 works great with Desktop Publishing and
      graphics applications.  For the home user or professional, GEMART
      #1 offers a quick and clean alternative that can save you or your
      staff many hours of work.

      The collection includes over 100 GEM graphics covering a wide
      range of categories including advertising, animals, architecture,
      borders, computers, fantasy, holidays, maps, medicine, people, and
      more.

      GEMART #1 was created by Sam Atkinson, a leading developer of
      commercial GEM clipart.  Sam has previously created two commercial
      clipart collections and this set includes his finest work yet.

      GEMART #1 works with many programs including:

      * Easy Draw - Migraph, Inc.

      * Publisher ST - Timeworks, Inc.

      * Publishing Partner Professional - Softlogik

      * Calamus/Calamus Plus - ISD Marketing

      GEMART #1 is now currently available through mail order directly
      from Softworks West.  It will also be available in selected retail
      stores soon.  Quantities currently available will limit the number
      of copies initially distributed for sale at retail outlets.

      The two disk set normally retails for $24.95.  For a limited time
      Softworks West is offering GEMART #1 to GEnie subscribers for only
      $21.95 (and we'll pay the postage and handling fees).  This offer
      applies only to mail order customers who postmark their order no
      later than December 21, 1988.

      ABOUT THE SAMPLE ARTWORK...

      Included with this text file are three GEM graphics from the
      GEMART #1 collection:

      ARROW2.GEM - A simple arrow.  Great for drawing attention!
      HORSE.GEM  - A horses head presented in a side view.
      MEGA.GEM   - An Atari MEGA computer.

      These samples should give you an idea of the quality artwork
      included on the GEMART #1 disks.  These GEM files can be used with
      any of the programs listed above.

      Softworks West and Sam Atkinson retain all rights to these
      graphics.  They may not be rented, sold, or distributed for a
      profit without the express written permission of Softworks West.

      You may use ARROW2.GEM, HORSE.GEM, and MEGA.GEM in any and all
      publications.  If the graphics are used in any commercial
      publication (any form of publication that generates a profit) a
      credit line stating, "GEMART #1 graphics provided by Softworks
      West" must accompany each use.  This restriction applies only to
      files obtained through this sample; it does not apply to consumers
      who have purchased the GEMART #1 collection.

      Softworks West allows free distribution of these graphics to
      interested parties provided this text file and all graphics are
      included without changes or modifications of any kind.
